This planner has brought some peace to our home. We complete each Sunday for the following week and it means that everyone can see what the children need for school and when. It has resulted in my children being able to organise themselves without having to ask me over and over again!

I bought this planner for my daughter for her to track her own plan.

We are a very busy household with two full time working parents and two kids who are doing a lot of sports and clubs both in and out of school. There are always something going on each week either it’s work travelling, school events or sports fixtures. This means that each day of the week is different in terms of stuff to pack for school, pick up time and arrangements and it’s impossible to remember it all. We have recently started using the planner and have got one for each child. On the weekends we input the planner for the coming week and on a daily basis we refer to it as a checklist. The kids actually quite enjoy inputting the planners themselves which really help develop their organisational skills from a young age leading to more independence. Since we started using the planners we haven’t forgot packing piano books, submitting homework or had any misunderstandings among us like we used to do. We also spent less time on talking and asking questions about school related stuff so it’s a lot more relaxing in the evenings. The magnetic planners stuck neatly on the fridge door and come in a range of lovely modern colours. I have a pink one and a blue one which blend in nicely with my grey kitchen cabinets. It really has made life easier for all of us.
